Design Tips for A luxury Bathroom
The bathroom is probably the only
space in a home where we are mostly alone, by ourselves and with our thoughts.
Thus, the time we spend there is cherished, valued, and loved. Though a
bathroom of course is a place where functionality is of the utmost importance,
it can also be the space where we can relax and pamper ourselves without
feeling guilty. By designing and embellishing the bathroom with certain,
specific luxury elements we can create the kind of space that offers a sense of
serenity and wellbeing!
Marble
Chandeliers
Frommer adores chandeliers “A chandelier in a bathroom makes a statement- it just cannot be ignored. A chandelier adds an air of grace and sophistication that instantly elevates the look of a bathroom.”
It is important to take into account the size of the bathroom
space when choosing a chandelier – the size of the chandelier needs to be in
proper proportion to the size of the space otherwise it will look odd.

Color scheme
Choosing the right color scheme is
extremely important when designing your luxury bathroom. There are so many
options, and you have to know what you love. The following are some color
palettes that Frommer likes to work with. In her words -
“Grey
- if your dream is a traditional yet understated luxury bathroom then grey in
its many lighter shades is perfect for you. It can be matched with beige, white
and soft gold for that luxurious understated impact.
Pale
blue/aqua and white - this is a bathroom color scheme that adds a romantic
vibe. If all the fixtures (sink, tub, shower and toilet) are in white these
enhance the minimalism of a modern space and calmly contrast against the pale blue/
aqua hues.
Whites, creams, beiges and wood - this
color scheme provides a fresh, light and bright feel. The wood adds a touch of chic.

Taking into account these design
elements will ensure that your bathroom is high end, luxurious, and that it offers the perfect pampering
refuge after a hard day’s work.
